The design team transformed a dark alley space between the Repertory and Bagley Wright Theaters into an inviting and lively space for visitors and theater patrons. Theatrical fixtures mounted to light trusses create pools of soft light in a memorial garden. Pedestrian light standards create a rhythm of light for the patrons as they walk along a new boulevard. A vibrant red wall connecting the theater district to the city streets is washed with an even illumination that makes the wall visually pop, creating an iconic image at night for the city.
